To Me

To Me

Shakespeare once wrote;
“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.”
And do you know what?
I think he got it right.
How can I be so constrained…so limited?
Because you my love are the beauty…
That everything else should be compared too.
You are the one perfect rose…in a garden full of roses.
You are the one stunning sunset
That puts all other sunsets to shame.
You are the magnificent sun
That the planet of me revolves around.
You are all of that…and more…to me!

  1. I’m never sure what to say about your poetry — except beautiful! So redundant, I know, but so true! You write wonderful poetry — a skill I just do not have. Grateful to be able to read yours!
