I thought I knew

I Thought I Knew

Beauty is…
The perfection of a rose
Silky, soft petals touched by the morning dew
Beauty is…
The morning sky
Soft, gentle shades of blue and pink
Touched by the splendor of the sun
Natures tender kiss to start the new day

Happiness is…
A childs laughter
Brought on by the fluttering touch of a butterfly
Happiness is…
The warmth of the afternoon sun
A gentle, cool summer breeze
Whispering through the trees
Mother Nature’s way to refresh our souls

Passion is…
Embodied in a Sunset
It’s reds and oranges announcing the end of another day
Passion is…
The awesome beauty of the night sky
The moon, the stars
A heavenly vista that takes your breath away
Gods gifts of nature to us

Beauty, happiness and passion
I truly thought I knew them well
But now…I know them better
Because I fell in love…with you!
