A Lost Love

A Love Lost

She realized their love
Was gone
Her tears…began to fall
Slowly…gently
Down her beautiful but sad face
Each tear…
Stood for every memory they shared…together
Each crack…
That crisscrossed every part of her broken heart
Symbolized…
Each time he had pledged his love… to her

Feelings…
Will eventually dull
Memories…
will fade
Lost…like a pebble Thrown into the deep blue sea
And love…sweet, glorious love
Now shriveled and unwanted
Hopefully… Will bloom again

I live in a little town in Virginia called Buffalo Junction. It's in between Clarksville and South Boston. I Love all kinds of music and poetry. I'm a night owl. I love the tranquility and mystery of the night.
